In a far away land...

We had fun pretending last weekend....

The King needed to go to a meeting in a far away land (Vidalia,La)...so he took the mother queen (grammie), his queen and the four princesses to a castle (the comfort suites). We had to drive over the moat (mississippi river) on a bridge (ms bridge) to get there...This is the story that we told the girls to get them excited about our trip. They really believed that we were in a castle! It was really fun...

We went shopping and the girls and grammie rode on a trolley into town..it was there on the trolley that bella met a kindred spirit...an old lady named Rose...and everytime Bella saw Rose in the hotel, she ran to her with hugs...they just love people...what can I say...for instance, they met every hotel worker that they came into contact with...."hello sir, how are you??", "how are you doing today ma'am?" and then while they ran ahead of me down the hall headed to our room i saw them stop in a doorway talking to someone in a room...and then they went into the room...kelli getting a little nervous, starting to run down the hall towards them.....and when i get to the door, it is the laudry center and i see evie and bella hugging the maids saying "nice to meet you ma'am", these ladies are so happy and they kept saying how friendly these little girls are!! they just couldnt believe it,,,,grannie hopkins rubs off on them..Now addie is another story - she embarrassed me so bad at breakfast this morning when a lady stopped to say hey to us "look at these pretty little girls" she says then addie says to her "you go home" (alot like Aunt jess in the morning) omgosh...so embarrasing, she got a major lesson in hurting peoples feelings that morning...anyway we had so much fun! we swam in the indoor pool and played mother hen with the colored chicks for hours in the pool! Josie is cutting two teeth and is enjoying eating food more and more......she is also starting to get up on all fours, ready to start scooting around... We also went to an antique mall called Addie's antiqe mall and found 3 porcelain dolls...the girls named them such fancy names....Bella's - Matilda, Evie's - Marabelle, and Adeleine's - Lillyannagrace!

I love ADDIE! Her name is the best for her baby. She can't help if she's grumpy in the mornin. People just need to leave her alone until she's ready to talk to them. She is her aunt Jessi. lovelove
